Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Ratings Dip Once Again

Sunday night's episode was the first installment of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 to bring the big fights fans have come to expect from the franchise, but that wasn't enough to bring in big ratings. In fact, the show is down week over week.

Last week 1.88 million people tuned into the 8 p.m. showing of the new episode; this week, it was down to 1.75 million for the August 3 show. For the third week in a row, RHoNJ only earned a 0.8 in the very important 18-49 demo.

These numbers are still up over the second episode of the season, which pulled in only 1.64 million viewers. Still, this is the third week that the show has been in the 1.6-1.9 million viewer range, and it's starting to look like it's not going to go much higher unless something drastic changes.

How does that compare to years past? Well, in Season 5, the fourth episode of the season pulled in 2.41 viewers, and the average rating over the entire course of the season was 2.28 million viewers per episode with a 1.03 in demo. So, you know, quite a bit better than this year's to date.
