American Idol Season 7 Finalist Michael Johns Dies at 35 (UPDATE)
Update (August 18, 2014):
Almost a month after his sudden death, new details have surfaced about Michael's passing. TMZreports his estranged wife, Stacey Vuduris, "created a lie" to cover-up Michael's alcohol abuse.
Legal documents filed by Michael's friend, Torrey Gambill, and obtained by TMZ show the two have been locking horns since Michael's death and that law enforcement officials claim Michael had been heavily using alcohol prior to his death. Torrey points to texts he received from Stacey saying she'd prefer the "'alcoholic' stuff" be left out of the story of his death. "At least blood clot sounds sudden," one text reportedly says.
Both parties have fired off legal paperwork about this recent development so we'll see what happens next.
