In the Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 finale, the doctor officially becomes the patient. According to what Kevin McKidd tells E! News, Owen is “in for a world of pain” before the season comes to a close.
And we’ve got a feeling there’s more to it than just being sad that Cristina (Sandra Oh) is leaving for good, too — although that will leave us in a world of pain. But for Owen? We’ve got a bad feeling he’s going to be injured.
After all, Owen’s the only doctor who’s had a break from being injured in the hospital’s many traumatic situations, right? He wasn’t in the plane crash, last year’s superstorm left him pretty much untouched — actually, now that we think about it, Owen hasn’t been in any kind of mortal danger since he was shot in Season 6’s Episode 23, “Sanctuary,” when a shooter was in the hospital. It was only a matter of time, folks.
Word on the street is that the finale (Season 10, Episode 24: “Fear (Of The Unknown)”) includes a terrorist attack of some sort, either on or near the hospital — and putting those close to Grey Sloan in some serious danger. Could Owen be one of them?
After last year’s more emotional drama-driven finale, we’re due for a disaster that leaves us with an update to the Grey’s Anatomy death count, which is quickly climbing toward one million zillion.
Wait, why do these guys even keep working at this hospital? We’d have left by now.
