Justin Bieber and Security Team Accused of Multiple Attacks on Paparazzi
Justin Bieber’s been in so much hot water this year, we’re surprised this kid’s not cooked yet. Turning up the heat yet another notch is a new detail coming straight from the courtroom of one of Justin’s various ongoing legal battles.
Jeffrey Binion’s attorney, Mark DiCowden, claims he’s documented at least 11 other such assaults during the past two years, all involving the Biebs and his security detail. DiCowden also states that a punitive damage award (aka more money for his client) might make the difference in stopping similar tussles in the future.
Sound fishy? Mark insists it’s not. “It’s not a financial fishing expedition,” he says. “It is well-known around the world that Justin Bieber does not like to be photographed in public.”
Mind you, not liking something and assaulting the people doing it are two very different things. Judge Sarah Zabel didn’t immediately rule on Mark’s request to explore unspecified punitive damages but either way, Justin’s not facing any criminal charges in this particular case. Seeing as he’s got plenty of other legal issues to keep him occupied, that’s probably for the best!
