Sorry, Jelena fans. Selena Gomez confirmed to Ryan Seacrest that she is currently single.

In an E! special, the star who just turned 21 talked to Ryan about her on/off relationship with Justin Bieber. Selena was asked if she's now dating Justin. “No, I’m not." Ryan asked if she was single. “Yes, I am."

She said she learned a lot from the relationship, including, “I learned that I should definitely keep it way more private next time.” She also seemed to (subtly) knock Justin's notorious entourage of bad influence friends. "You are who you surround yourself with. I know that's such a cliché quote, but it's true. I've just witnessed it too much. ... At the end of the day success is nothing if you don't have the right people to share it with, you're just gonna end up lonely."

She was asked what she's looking for in a potential boyfriend. "Honesty," she said. Turn offs? "Egos turn me off, big time. I mean it's hard to just date in this industry, it really is, because it doesn't have to be anything serious, it can just be something fun — and it should be because I'm young — but, you just can't really help the people that you meet or that you fall in love with or that you wanna date. I want someone who can make me laugh and just be normal and understand my lifestyle and how I wanna live it."

Not that she's necessarily looking for a new guy right now. However, it's clear she's trying to distance herself from Justin. (Maybe she's inspired by BFF Taylor Swift, who does not seem to be a big Belieber.) In an interview with WGN News in Chicago, Selena actually cut the video short when a reporter her about Justin's behavior and what we're not getting about him.

But Justin and Selena have been "off" before, so you never know what the future will bring. In the meantime, this may give Bradley Cooper some hope...
