Selena Gomez is plenty sexy and cool in our minds, but she's constantly surrounded by naysayers — or so she claimed at an October 19 concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

"Every day I get told I'm not sexy enough or I'm not cool enough or if I did this or if I did that, I would have people who love me," she told the standing-room-only crowd, per People. "Look at this room! I don't have to do any of that to have love!"

The magazine also reports that the 21-year-old singer took time out at the concert to thank her fans and their parents for trusting in her to be squeaky-clean. Apparently this image means she won’t pull a Miley Cyrus and go naked in her next video. When asked about the potential of her own “Wrecking Ball” moment on The Ben Davis and Kelly K radio show, Selena replied, "Hey, I don't judge people. But to each their own."

Um, we believe you, girl — but are those reports about your next photoshoot exploring "bedroom intimacy" true? Because that doesn't sound so squeaky-clean to us.

This isn't the first concert of Selena's to make headlines over the past week. She broke down in tears during her romantic ballad "Love Will Remember" on October 16 — but she insists that she wasn't weeping over ex Justin Bieber.

In case you're hoping to catch Selena's decidedly PG-13 concerts — and any newsworthy moments therein — her Stars Dance tour is hitting up 25 more waypoints over the next month.
