The Breaking Bad series finale(Season 5, Episode 16: "Felina") is coming this Sunday, September 29, and before we see the end of Walter White's journey, we still have a few questions we're hoping to see answered.
OK, maybe we have more than just a few. But we've narrowed it down to the top three things we want the show to answer before we finally say goodbye for good.
1. Who is the ricin for? This is an obvious one. The final season — or at least the half of it that aired this summer; thanks for making it confusing to talk about, AMC — opened with a flash forward showing Walter returning to his decimated home to pick up the Chekov's ricin that has been haunting the show. Who does he plan to use it on? Will the plan work out? Will it ever be used at all? One way or another, we guess we'll find out.
2. What exactly happened between Walter and his Grey Matter partners? We never got a clear answer about what went down between Walter and Elliott and Gretchen. Yes, Walter's romance with Gretchen obviously played a role but exactly why, and how, did he part ways with Grey Matter? We'd pretty much forgotten about this question until Elliott and Gretchen popped up last week to motivate Walt to finish what he started, and now we're wondering if Grey Matter will end up playing a bigger role than we thought in the final chapter of his story.
3. Where is Huell? OK. This one isn't quite as big as the other two but we, like the rest of the internet, are wondering what has become of poor Huell. Last time we saw him, he was still in protective custody. We hope someone lets him go at some point. Side note: We'd also love to check in with Badger and Skinny Pete one last time. Alas, we're thinking this is not to be.
