Ariana Grande: I’m NOT a Sex Symbol — Also, Leave Miley Cyrus Alone

Believe it or not, rising star and lovely lady Ariana Grande is still getting use to her role as a teen heartthrob.

“I don’t see myself as sexy,” she tells Complex magazine. “I’m not comfortable being sexy and dressing sexy. I don’t see myself ever becoming a sex symbol.”

Good luck trying to stop that train, Ariana. When you’ve got the Biebs texting you flirty messages, chances are you’re already well on your way to becoming America’s latest obsession.

That is if fellow Disney alum Miley Cyrus makes room for Ariana on the top. When asked what she makes of “the transition” the fellow 20-year-old is “going through,” Ariana doesn’t see what the big deal is.

Miley looks like she is having the time of her life, and I think anybody who’s giving her a hard time is wishing deep down they were having as much fun as she is right now,” Ariana says. “People are being so cruel. I think that’s bullying, and she should do whatever the hell she wants.”

Ariana, who has hinted at working with Miley on upcoming music projects, thinks everyone should just take a chill pill when it comes to the notorious tongue-wagger. “Everybody needs to have more fun. If it’s not your taste, don’t look at it. I get so hyped up about the Miley thing because I think she’s cool.”

She’s also probably got some tips on how to handle being a sex symbol.
