The Charmed actress revealed her diagnosis back in August, and yesterday she sat down with Dr. OZ to talk about what her treatment has cost her: the ability to bear children. It didn't take long for the tears to start flowing.
"You worry most about the people that you love, and about making sure they're going to be OK, the 44-year-old revealed, before starting to cry. "So for me, that was the hardest part."
To make matters harder, the medicine she's currently on means she can't get pregnant, which is a blow.
"I'm 44 and my husband and I wanted children," she said. She and hubby Kurt Iswarienko will probably look into adopting instead.

She followed this news up by revealing she plans to have surgery, explaining that keeping her breasts is not as important as saving her life.
"In the end, they're just breasts. I mean I love 'em," she joked, "But in the grand scheme of things I would rather be alive, and I would rather grow old."
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star also admitted her diagnosis and treatment has affected her career.
"I think that people think that I'm 'sick,' and therefore I'm unable to perform," she said, adding that in a career like acting, the physical effects of the medicine also matter.
"You do gain weight, and there's nothing you can do about it. And you do get puffy. I think that all of that effects a career like mine."
