Host Andy Cohen wanted to know if Shannon regretted joining the show, and Shannon was ready with her answer straight away. “Absolutely not,” she said. “The opposite. Because my marriage is stronger than ever and that’s been a blessing.”
“At the reunion, you credited the show with saving your marriage,” Andy interjected.
“Well, I’m not gonna go with ’saving,’” Shannon replied. “I think I had something to do with that. You know, watching things back — and my husband as well — we realize that there were things lacking in our marriage, that we were in a rut. Now things are better, we’re just coming off of 17 days alone together, and we feel closer together now than we have--ever!” Apparently, the lovebirds flew to Hawaii to film the reunion, then jetted off to Vegas. Cute!
So there you have it, folks. The secret to a happy marriage is, against all odds, being under a microscope on reality television. Who’d have ever thought?
Do you think Shannon’s marriage will last? Do you think RHOC is the reason she and her husband are still together? Sound off in the comments!
