Shannon Beador: “Nagging and Complaining” Isn’t Good For My Marriage (VIDEO)

If you watched last night’s all-new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, you’re well aware of the awkwardness that existed between newbie Shannon Beador and her husband, David Beador. We thought we’d seen disastrous marriages on TV before, but we’re definitely reevaluating now.

After constantly bickering all season, it turns out that David’s most recent move was to email his wife telling her he is moving out. A tearful Shannon ended up knocking on co-star Tamra Barney’s door one night, seeking advice from someone who has been through a horrible relationship before — ahem, Simon Barney.

Having your dirty laundry air on national television might not sound good to you, but Shannon seems pretty thrilled with the positive results it has had on her marriage.

“I know it may sound crazy, but I thought it would be a great idea [to be on the show] to watch little clips of my life play back — I see things that do well, and I see things that I have to work on,” Shannon later revealed on Watch What Happens Live alongside Bravo boss Andy Cohen.

So what exactly is she working on?

“I realize nagging and complaining isn’t going to get me to where I want to be in my relationship with my husband,” Shannon continued. “I absolutely made an adjustment and it’s been good.”

We’re glad to hear that Shannon and David are getting along better these days, but we have a feeling that they’re not through the woods yet on RHOC. Hopefully these two can quit fighting and make time for each other sooner rather than later.
