Sharleen Joynt Throws Major Shade at “Bottom Feeder” Chris Bukowski

Don’t be shy, Sharleen Joynt — tell us what you really think! That must have been the prompt Flare editors gave Shar when they asked her to blog about Bachelor in Paradise Episode 2, which aired August 11. The opera singer did not hold back, which is reason #543 why we adore her.

So what happens when The Bachelor Season 18 contestant’s gloves come off? Major shade gets thrown at Bachelor Nation bad boy Chris Bukowski.

It’s an understatement to say Shar-bear was not a fan of the lady killer’s performance, which featured the latecomer doing whatever he needed — aka, scaring the ocean critters by making out with Elise Mosca in the middle of their dinner table — to get a rose.

The blogger assigned Chris the dubious award of “Bottom Feeder of the Week,” writing “There’s fresh male meat on the island! It’s—shockingly—that Bachelor-franchise gnat Chris B., who unrelentingly insists he belongs on television. He plainly seeks out the lowest common denominator amongst the women. Anything to stay in front of the cameras for one more week.” Ouch.

Not only did Shar just call Chris a gnat, a bottom feeder, and a fame whore, but she also more than implied Elise is the “lowest common denominator amongst the women.” Shar went on to shade Elise further, giving the blonde the award “Most In Need of a Copy of He’s Just Not That Into You.”

Shar didn’t mince words about her view of the overall show either, writing “I can’t tell when I watch this show whether I’m entertained, bored witless, or in some no man’s land of sheer apathy.” High praise! We can’t wait to see what adjectives she trots out next week!

Do you agree with Sharleen’s assessment of Chris B and Elise or did she go too far? Give us your comments!
