Bachelorette 2015: Shawn Booth Reveals That Kaitlyn Bristowe Called Him “the One”
Just when you think there's not enough time left in a Bachelorette 2015 episode for any more drama, Shawn Booth goes ahead and reveals a big secret to producers!
The Season 11 contestant was visibly upset after Jared Haibon got the rose instead of him on June 22’s Irish wake group date. Shawn really opened up to Kaitlyn Bristowe during the Episode 6 date, sharing photos of his family and letting the Bachelorette even more into his personal life. So, naturally, when he wasn't the one enjoying a private Cranberries concert with Kaitlyn, he did not take it well.
How he took out his frustration? By revealing to a show producer what Kaitlyn told him during their alone time together. "I was with her all night. She said you're it. She said you're the one," Shawn explained.
He continued, "I can't do this. And then she gets to the Fantasy Suites and bangs two other dudes? My parents went through a terrible divorce. Trust to me is the biggest thing ever. I'm not going to make it. I'm about to cry right now."
The Ryan Gosling lookalike then brought his concerns to Kaitlyn herself, walking over to her hotel room. Though the episode was left on another cliffhanger, it's clear that Kaitlyn thinks Shawn learned of her and Nick Viall having sex during their 1-on-1 date and that's why he's confronting her.
In reality, Shawn probably just wants to talk to Kaitlyn about his frustrations with the process. He likely doesn't even know the full extent of what happened with Nick, considering that all Nick revealed to the guys was that the two were "intimate." Hopefully this conversation will be when Kait can come forward and be honest with Shawn and improve their trust.
But at this point, Shawn seems so confused and upset by the mixed signals. "I'm not going to make it to the end of this thing because I can't handle it anymore," he said.
Let's hope these two young lovers can have a productive talk and get back to a good place during next week's episode!
