Shay Johnson Addresses Attacking Club Goer: I Was a Victim of Bullying

Shay Johnson may have been absent from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3, but that doesn’t mean our girl has completely avoided the drama. Not only did Shay claim to have been extra naughty with friend-with-benefits Lil Scrappy, but she also got into a trouble when she was accused of attacking a clubgoer at the opening of Stevie J. and Benzino’s Sleazy & Zino’s Bar and Bistro.

A video of Shay hitting a woman (recognized as one of Joseline Hernandezs friends) has been circulating the internet. While one Atlanta witness claimed to have turned the video over to police to expose Shay’s bad girl behavior, Shay responded to the allegations telling The Jasmine Brand that she was a victim of bullying.

“Everybody is thinking they know what’s going on and watching something that didn’t really happen,” she said, adding, “I don’t like to be bullied. It was a situation where I was bullied along with four other individuals, at the same night, in the same club, by the same individual.”

Shay continued on, stating, “Sometimes you can’t keep bullying people because you’re going to run into someone who’s not going to be able to take it. And going to stand up for herself and that’s me, I’m going to stand up for myself, you can’t bully me. Yes I was in a bully situation, somebody tried to bully me.”

Though Shay hasn’t addressed whether or not the report was filed or charges dropped, her summary of the situation as “fabricated” and statement that she doesn’t regret her actions seems to explain her overall feeling about it.
