Should April and Jackson Get Together on Grey’s Anatomy Season 9?

Towards the end of Grey's Anatomy Season 8, best friends April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) took a big risk by having sex in the middle of their Board exams. Not only was April in a very nervous, anxious state of mind, but she was a virgin.

In the finale (Season 8, Episode 24, "Flight"), she seemed to regret the whole thing, despite Jackson’s assurances that everything between them would go back to normal. Heading into Season 9, April is unemployed, and Jackson had decided to go to Tulane in Louisiana for his career. Do these two have a future together?

Several possibilities lie ahead. Jackson may choose to stay in Seattle, at least temporarily, to help out with the aftermath of the accident. After all, Jackson’s direct superior, Mark (Eric Dane), is suffering from major internal bleeding. He can’t just say “See ya!” in the middle of all that.

As for April, we’re not sure what choice she has at the moment. Her best friend will most likely stay in Seattle. She needs to figure out how to move her medical career forward without being board-certified (yet). Maybe she’ll choose to work at a nearby hospital, start studying again for the exam, and keep her minimal social life intact by staying put.

Either way, do you think April and Jackson should get together, officially? There’s no doubt that they love each other, not to mention the fact that they have great sex. Should they just get into a relationship and see where it goes? Tell us in the poll below!

Miss Grey’s? Us too. Luckily the show will return to Thursdays at 9 p.m. with all-new episodes in the fall on ABC.
