Should Julianne Hough Return to DWTS as Pro Dancer on Season 19?

Will two-time Dancing With the Stars pro champ Julianne Hough return to the ballroom as a competing pro? Should she?

Julianne won her first two seasons on DWTS — Season 4 and Season 5 — but left the show after dancing with her then-boyfriend Chuck Wicks on Season 8. She returned to DWTS as a guest judge in Season 17 and Season 18, but a new report suggests she might be considering a full-season return. (We can call that move “Pulling a Maks.”)

The report — which quotes anonymous sources to Star magazine (via Celebrity Dirty Laundry) — says Julianne’s film offers have dried up a bit since her split with Ryan Seacrest and she’s seriously considering a return to the ballroom in the fall Season 19. DWTS is a steady weekly paycheck and a job she once loved, back with her ballroom family.

The story doesn’t say anything about returning to DWTS as a guest judge, but that could be part of the considerations too (if she really is giving a return to DWTS serious thought at all). Julianne has made her mark as a guest judge, stirring up controversy and getting people talking, which the producers must love.

That report may be way off in terms of Julianne’s mindset, but we know she and Derek Hough are doing their big tour this summer, and it’s possible she does miss dancing alongside her bro on the show. And whether it's a real possibility or not, it's interesting to consider.

So what do you think — would you like Julianne to return to DWTS as a competing pro, as a judge, or neither? Vote in the poll below!

DWTS Season 18 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

No way.

That would be great!
