As unexpected as Simon Cowell becoming a dad may have been, The X Factor judge is long past denial that soon they’ll be a little Cowell to boss him around take care of. In his latest step toward pre-baby planning, the 54-year-old English star has listed his Beverly Hills mansion for an asking price of $20 million, according to a Los Angeles Times report.

Simon bought the home two years ago for a reported $15.5 million. Despite the steep price tag, the house itself is on the modest side. The two-story, 7,265 square foot house has four bedrooms and six bathrooms — rather small when compared to the sprawling layouts of other A-list stars.

For any potential buyers out there, the Cowell residence sits on more than half an acre of land and includes an outdoor entertainment area, swimming pool, and formal dining room “with walls of glass.” It’s also the same house that was recently vandalized in “honor” of Simon’s October 7 birthday.

We doubt a little toilet paper and a cleverly worded sign is what’s forcing Simon out of the neighborhood, however. He and baby mama Laura Silverman already have an Upper East Side apartment in New York City; perhaps they’re moving in together full-time. Or, even better...you guys, we think Simon Cowell is nesting.
