Six Reasons We’re Thankful for the Beverly Hills Housewives

It's Thanksgiving time again, and there are a lot of things to be thankful for in this world. But if you ask us, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills should be near the top of everyone's list. Don't believe us? Well, don't call us a turkey! Instead, check out our six reasons why the show is better than ever this season.

Kim Richards has raised eyebrows with her always-surprising comments over the years, but we wondered if the wacky moments would cease now that she's completely sober. Thankfully, she’s as hilarious as ever. Case in point: Kim has done everything this season from accidentally falling out of her chair while reenacting Lisa’s faint, to calling Yolanda Foster’s face “icky.” Yep, the Kim we know and love is still here!

The ladies keep us tuning in, but what’s a Real Housewives show without the men? And we think it’s safe to say that Mauricio Umansky is the yummiest Househusband of all the shows! (No offense, Eddie Judge.) We also love Lisa Vanderpump’s husband, Ken, and Yolanda’s man, David. Plus, who could forget our favorite guy of all, Giggy?

Every Real Housewives franchise adds new players to keep things interesting. But have any of the other shows added newbies that are as polarizing and memorable as Brandi Glanville, Yolanda, Joyce Giraud, and Carlton Gebbia? All four are role models based on their admirable family lives, but they still have no problem standing their ground when need be. And yes, need often be.

More so than any other Real Housewives franchise, the alliances on Beverly Hills can change at a moment’s notice, which means that the storylines always stay fresh. Brandi and Lisa are besties, right? Think again. And Brandi doesn't see eye-to-eye with the Richards sisters, right? No longer true! This show really keeps us on our toes.

The great thing about this show is that the stars keeping improving their lives and learning from their mistakes. Over the course of the show, Brandi has become a bestselling author and improved her relationship (more or less) with LeAnn Rimes, while Kim is now sober. Plus, the bond between Kim and Kyle Richards is stronger than ever. Inspiring, no?

Yes, Brandi seems to have just as many haters as she has supporters. But that’s also why we love her so much. Sure, we love Kyle and Lisa as well, but there's just something about the hilarious and often-shocking Brandi that is so fascinating. You can call Brandi a lot of things, but “boring” ain’t one of them.
