Sleepy Hollow Renewed For Season 2 — After Only 3 Episodes!

New Fox show Sleepy Hollow has been thrilling us since the moment we first met Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and started to believe his story. And we’re not the only ones — 10.1 million people tuned in to watch the first episode, making it Fox’s biggest premiere in seven years. The network certainly took notice of fan response and has officially renewed the Monday night show for Season 2!

In an October press release, Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly announced that three episodes in, Fox is already committed to following the story through for at least another season. “The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking — it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast,” the Fox exec gushes. “I can’t wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two.”

Um, welcome to the club. We are completely fascinated by the historically-informed narrative, and with the added numbers of DVR and streaming consumers, over 22 million people have watched the premiere so far. That’s the biggest number since 24 premiered in 2001.

No wonder Abby passed on Quantico to stick around…You know, for at least the prophesied seven years.
