The Jersey Shore alum was unexpectedly sent home last week after she and newbie partner Sasha Farber performed their Team Spooky Bom Bom performance with the reality star dressed as a zombie. Snooki was understandably torn up following the elimination, saying she wasn’t ready to go home yet.
But time heals all wounds and Snooks is already starting to look at the bright side. In an interview with TVGuide, Snooki talks about her favorite new friends from the show and why she’s actually looking forward to taking a break from choreography.
When asked what went wrong on Dancing With the Stars, Snooki copped to the fact that the show can be utterly exhausting.
“It was a combination of everything from my busy schedule with Season 3 of Snooki & JWoww and my other projects, to being mentally and physically exhausted and, most importantly, wanting each dance to be perfect,” she said. “Dancing with the Stars is no joke and it takes a toll on your body and I just wanted to do the best I could for Sasha and myself.”
During the competition, Snooki won over the judges and her fellow contestants by showing everyone she wasn’t the same non-stop partier we all saw at Seaside Heights during countlessJersey Shore episodes.
“Yes I'm glad that everyone got to see the real me on Dancing with the Stars. My life has changed completely since Jersey Shore and I love being a mother. Being able to show the fans and audience that was really something special to me,” she said, before elaborating on her Dancing With the Stars family. “I feel like we've all become a dysfunctional family and at the end of the day we were all going through the same things that I think we are going to bond over forever. I honestly love everyone... I'm going to miss every single person on the show.”
