Should All-Stars Return for So You Think You Can Dance Season 9? You Tell Us!

In Season 7, So You Think You Can Dance introduced the idea of All-Stars, former SYTYCD contestants who returned to dance with the newbies and added some expertise to the show.

There was mixed feedback on incorporating the All-Stars into the competition. Some fans loved seeing the return of their faves from past seasons and felt it elevated the series. Others wanted to witness the chemistry build between the new dancers who were actually competing.

With all of this in mind, Nigel Lythgoe and his production team tried a different approach for the All-Stars on Season 8. In a sort of compromise, the All-Stars appeared only when the pool was narrowed down to the Top 10.

Now, with Season 9 auditions just months away, we look towards Season 9 and wonder what type of role (if any) the All-Stars will play this time. What's your opinion on All-Stars this season?
