Whether you are a fan of bringing back All-Stars to So You Think You Can Dance or not, there is no denying that their return to the show have inspired some amazing SYTYCD routines.

Here are our picks for the five best SYTYCD All-Star routines ever!

5. Caitlynn Lawson and Pasha Kovalev in Season 8's ''Malajunta''

Season 8 finalist Caitlynn Lawson showed off her sultry side as she was paired up with Season 3 All-Star Pasha Kovalev in a Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo's Argentinian tango set to Orquestra Color Tango’s “Malajunta.”

The two heated up the SYTYCD dance floor with hot moves and fierce chemistry. This routine has "Hot Tamale Train" written all over it!

4. Melanie Moore and Neil Haskell in Season 8's ''Total Eclipse of the Heart''

Season 8 winner Melanie Moore appeared untouchable this summer, excelling in every routine she performed, and this Mandy Moore contemporary routine to the Bonnie Tyler classic “Total Eclipse of the Heart” was no exception. Paired with Season 3 All-Star Neil Haskell, Melanie found a new emotional depth to her dancing.

The two had great chemistry and brought viewers into their intimate world of dance. One of the routine’s highlights was Melanie’s uninhibited, high-flying leap into Neil’s arms. We could watch this again and again and never tire of it!

3. Robert Roldan and Allison Holker in Season 7's ''Fix You''

Robert Roldan and Season 2 All-Star Allison Holker brought tears to our eyes in Season 7's emotionally-charged Travis Wall contemporary routine to Coldplay’s “Fix You.” Travis dedicated the piece to his sick mother, and Robert demonstrated an equally strong connection due to his mother’s health problems, adding to the dance’s emotional context,

It was one of those truly special SYTYCD moments when the audience, the contestants, the judges, and America forgot about the competition and revealed in the sheer beauty of dance and how it can convey a message or emotion. Sigh! This is SYTYCD at its finest!

2. Alex Wong and Twitch Boss in Season 7's ''Outta Your Mind''

We went out of our minds for this NappyTabs hip hop routine to Lil Jon and LM*AO’s “Outta Your Mind.”

Season 7 finalist Alex Wong shocked us, as he held his own against hip hop guru and Season 4 All-Star Stephen “tWitch” Boss. Thanks to Alex for proving a ballet dancer can get down and dirty.

1. Sasha Mallory and Twitch Boss in Season 8's ''Misty Blue''

This Christopher Scott hip hop routine to Dorothy Moore’s “Misty Blue” featured Season 8 runner up Sasha Mallory and Season 4 All Star Stephen “tWitch” Boss. The routine proved why Sasha was in the competition until the very end.

Sasha and Twitched looked like they had been dancing together for years. This number was the full package: great moves, great dancers, and amazing performance quality!
