So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley and Irish “funnyman” Patrick Kielty have only been dating since the fall, but, according to our friends at the Belfast Telegraph, the couple is “getting serious fast.”
In an interview before the New Year, Patrick declared that he intended on getting betrothed in 2012. “I think that might be my New Year’s resolution — to get married,” he said. With things heating up quickly between “PatCat,” we can’t help speculating if the two might be the real deal.
Recently, the love birds returned from a ritzy holiday in Cabos San Lucas — their second romantic rendezvous together — and they seem downright smitten with each other. A friend of Cat’s stated, “Patrick makes her feel special and everyone is happy to see her with a man who truly appreciates her."
Apparently, Cat has had a crush on Patrick for quite some time. "It's no secret among Cat's close friends that she has always held a torch for Patrick, but it has never been the right time for either one."
According to the source, Patrick was heart-broken and perhaps a bit bitter when Cat left the UK to host SYTYCD. But, he has since changed his tone and may be hearing wedding bells for the two of them in the not too distant future.
