The Utah So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 auditions are just around the corner (February 23 to be exact), and Utah dancers will want to make sure they are ready to impress on the big day. Helping them get it together is SYTYCD judge, choreographer, and master of the English language Lil’ C — who will head a one-day workshop at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, UT this weekend.

On Saturday February 18, for a mere $39, dancers can participate in either an intermediate or advanced workshop with Lil’ C and then listen to a lecture from the hip hop guru on how to make it or break it on SYTYCD.

The workshop is sponsored by local dance school Dancelink and owner Tami Larson is psyched to host such a prominent SYTYCDer. "It is very exciting that we have him coming," she told Utah’s Standard-Examiner. The timing couldn’t be more perfect and, with a local “strong dance base,” Larson expects a big turnout.

Registration begins at 11am, followed by the intermediate workshop at noon. At 2pm, Lil’ C will give a lecture and sign autographs, then conclude the day with an advanced class at 3pm.

Now, that’s Buck!
