Mia Michaels attends Fox's So You Think You Can Dance season 7 viewing at the Trousdale Lounge on May 27, 2010 in West Hollywood.
The Joffrey Ballet has a stellar reputation for teaching the next generation of ballet dancers the ins and outs of ballet technique. This summer, they’ll take it up a notch for bunheads across the nation with a new intensive program, a new emphasis on jazz and contemporary, and a chance to work with one of the dance industry’s most brilliant and frightening choreographers: So You Think You Can Dance’s Mia Michaels.
For the first time ever, the Joffrey Ballet will host the Joffrey West summer program in Los Angeles, CA. Dancers ages 12 to 25 can study ballet, modern, and contemporary dance in one of America’s dance metropolises.
Yesterday, Mia tweeted, “Excited to be teaching and choreographing at Joffrey West...It's Joffreys new LA summer intensive! Get into it!” Mia will definitely bring a fresh perspective to the Joffrey programs.
