So You Think You Can Dance executive producer Nigel Lythgoe wears many hats, and one is L.A. Chairman of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

On July 9, Nigel will help organize BAFTA Brits to Watch, an event that honors the "incredible depth and range of great British talent currently emerging in film, television, and video games," held in Los Angeles at the Belasco Theater. Also attending the event are Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, who is the president of BAFTA, and his newly betrothed Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

In Britain, it was rumored that the ticket prices for the event were unreasonably high. However, Deadline Hollywood recently reported that the prices being offered to Hollywood film and television personal were actually pretty reasonable — around $25,000 a table for the upscale event.

Apparently, $25,000 is quite the bargain to meet British Royals.
