Contemporary pro Courtney was another of those gals who got our guys watching in Season 4, even if they did think she was Rachel Bilson from The OC. Plus, the fact that she dances for a sports team, basketball's New York Knicks, definitely upped her hotness level.
Glee regular Courtney Galliano found herself in the Top 4 dancers on Season 4 of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance and, now, she’s passing on her know-how and zeal for dance onto the next generation of aspiring SYTYCDers.
Courtney’s new dance convention The Beat hosts two-day workshops across the country, dishing out dance instruction and advice on how to succeed in this dog-eat-dog industry. Helping Courtney with her ambitious endeavor is an impressive line-up of SYTYCD All-Stars. Check out who will be touring with The Beat.
Stephen “Twitch” Boss
Hip hopper Twitch danced his way to the runner-up position on Season 4. Since then, he’s returned to the show as an All Star on Seasons 7 & 8, has appeared in the Step Up movies, and performs regularly with LXD.
Allison Holker
Allison was a favorite on Season 2 and has also appeared in Seasons 7 & 8 as an All Star. She was a regular dancer on the inaugural season of The X Factor and will appear in the upcoming film COBU 3D.
Ade Obayomi
Ade’s strength, technique, and lyricism made him stand out from the pack on Season 5. He returned as an All-Star on Seasons 7 & 8 and has since performed with a multitude of pop icons.
William Wingfield
A protege of Debbie Allen’s, Will showed immense talent and passion on Season 4 of SYTYCD. Now, he’s working on numerous projects including his own documentary film.
And, of course, Courtney herself!
This weekend, The Beat gets things rolling in Orlando, FL, with a workshop at the Hyatt Hotel. For more information on the convention or to find out how to register, check out The Beat’s website.
