Chris Koehl Bio

Chris Koehl is another one of Season 8’s strong hip hop dancers. He began teaching himself how to dance at the age of 14. Once it became clear to him how strongly he felt about dance, Chris decided to pursue some formal training. He trained under Fenton Fulgham for two years, and has recently began to dabble in jazz, ballet, and ballroom. He took time off from his studies at Richland Community College in Texas to focus on preparing for So You Think You Can Dance. It looks like he made the right decision. Chris also enjoys teaching dance and is a lead dancer for several DJ companies.
