Lil’ C was born Christopher A. Toler on January 19, 1983. An individual with a vernacular all his own, the hip hopper started dancing professionally in 2001. His ‘expertise’ in krumping launched a successful career, landing him gigs dancing in the music videos of Missy Elliot, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, and JLo. Lil’ C was featured in a 2005 documentary called Riz, which chronicled the evolution of krumping into a legitimate style of dance. Following the release of the doc, he began to choreograph for television and film, including the Teen Choice Awards, Bones, and the American Music Awards. He’s been choreographing and judging for So You Think You Can Dance since Season 2, and is a ‘masterful splendificous’ addition to the show.
