During the Atlanta auditions, we got to experience the heart-wrenching story of Melanie “Mel” Moore losing her dad when she was only 12 years old. But this dancing dynamo channeled all of that hurt and emotion into her dancing, turning her into one of this season’s strongest female dancers. She received her dance training in Marietta, GA from Center Stage and Rhythm Dance Center. Currently, Melanie is enrolled as an art student at Fordham University in New York City. She aspires to one day become a professional dancer.
