The Originals Music: Songs From Season 1, Episode 16 — “Farewell to Storyville”

Once again The Originals has thrown us for a loop. We didn’t think things could get any crazier, but tonight’s episode — Season 1, Episode 16 (“Farewell to Storyville”) — definitely turned the intensity up to 11. With the Mikaelson siblings trapped in a graveyard with (gasp) a white oak stake, it was only a matter of time before tensions boiled over.

While Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) delivered some emotional acting, arguing separate sides of their Mikael problem, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) played the mediator of the arguing.

Much of the episode went music-free, but toward the end of the dramatic hour, we were treated with a few great tunes that echoed the scenes we’d been watching up to that point. One that hit the hardest was when Rebekah made her amends with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and rode off into the night.

Check out the music from tonight’s episode below.

Song: “Walkabout”
Artist: Augustines
Scene: Rebekah makes her peace with Marcel and Hayley.
