Real Housewives of New York’s Sonja Morgan Drunkenly Defends Brandi Glanville!

It’s so great to see Bravolebrities coming together — especially if it’s two of our favorites! The other day, we told you about how Atlanta’s own NeNe Leakes and feisty New Yorker Sonja Morgan had enjoyed a lovely dinner together in NYC. Well, it seems like the meal might have been a little too fun, as there’s now a video of the Real Housewives of New York star acting tipsy and spilling her guts to the paparrazi!

Outside of the Upper East Side restaurant Nello, Sonja had a lot to say to the photogs. As we can see in the clip, although she begins by covering face and saying “really I don’t want to talk,” she clearly has some things she’d like to get off her chest.

So what was she doing at dinner with the Real Housewives of Atlanta star? “I had a talk with NeNe,” the bubbly blonde offers up, adding, “The talk went well, NeNe is very practical. I love Nene. NeNe is a practical girl. I love her husband.. She’s a good girl.”

Though her assistant appears to be trying to bring her back inside, she wants us to know how much she loves her glam pal! Sounds like NeNe had some advice to share with Sonja — wonder what it could be about? Could it be related to this upcoming season of RHoNY?

And it seems like Linnethia isn’t the only housewife from another city that Sonja is chummy with these days. When the paps prompt her about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville (whose endured her fair share of bad publicity this season), she fiercely defends her Bravo sister.

“I don’t like what people did to Brandi,” she starts, “Because Brandi is straight up ... straight smart!“ Fair enough!

While it’s great to see the spirited gal chat about the other housewives, it’s her final comment that really takes the cake. She launches into a conversation about the treatment of horses used in Central Park carriages, a cause seemingly important to her. And while she’s still torn on the animals’ best option, she knows how she’d like to live:

“Myself, I know my own life, I’d rather ride hard than not ride at all.”

Oh Sonja, never change!

Real Housewives of New York returns for a sixth season on March 11 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
