Sons of Anarchy’s Maggie Siff Pregnant, Expecting First Baby at Age 39
There is a new son — or daughter! — of anarchy on the way.
Sons of Anarchy star Maggie Siff is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband, according to Us Weekly.
"I haven't really announced [it] yet," the 39-year-old actress says. "I'm past the nausea so I'm feeling a lot better, a lot more energetic. We just finished shooting the season, which is good."
Maggie also announced the pregnancy on her Twitter page by calling herself a "future mom" on her account profile. She has played Dr. Tara Knowles-Teller on Sons of Anarchy since 2008 and is also known for playing Rachel Menken Katz on Mad Men.
Maggie says that she and her husband — whom she married in October 2012 — know the baby's gender but aren't going public with it yet. But she does reveal her pregnancy cravings. "A little bit of ice cream," she says. "Nothing too much. Yogurt [and] dairy." Wait — we want ice cream right now. Should we take a pregnancy test?
She says of her husband, "He's going to be a great dad, I know he is. He is very very sweet and fun so he plays a lot of games and he'll just make the baby laugh a lot. He's very good-natured. Way better-natured than I am! He laughs a lot, we have such a good time." So sweet!
Sons of Anarchy— which is currently airing its sixth season on FX — has been in the news quite a bit lately. Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax on the show, was cast as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey before recently dropping out of the film.
