Glee Spoiler: Scene With Kurt’s Dad in “Bash” Will Make You Sob

Glee is never a show to shy away from heavy subject matter, and an upcoming episode will involve gay bashing. Now, we're learning that a scene in the episode will feature Kurt's (Chris Colfer) dad, Burt Hummel (Mike O'Malley), and will make you want to reach for the Kleenex.

It's pretty much a scientific fact that any scene involving Burt is going to be memorable and amazing and make you sob. And his scene in Season 5, Episode 15: "Bash," will apparently be no exception.

On February 27, Glee cinematographer Joaquin Sedillo tweeted:

Yes, Mike is indeed good. And now we're curious as to what this scene will be about. We had previously reported that the episode will involve Kurt getting badly beaten, as we have seen photos of Kurt with cuts and welts on his face, likely the result of a hate crime. So we can only imagine that Burt is reacting to Kurt having been in peril.

Burt will be appearing on Glee even sooner than that, as he'll show up next month in Season 5, Episode 11: "City of Angels," hopefully for happier reasons than for his appearance in "Bash." And as far as we're concerned, the more Burt, the better!

What do you think will be going on in Burt's scene that will make people cry?
