Bachelorette 2013 Spoiler: Desiree Harstock Faces a Two-Timing Suitor
The question of whether a contestant is in it for the “right reasons” is hardly a new quandry for The Bachelor franchise. It’s a reality TV cliche about as prevalent as “throwing people under the bus” or “not coming here to make friends.” But the upcoming season of The Bachelorette with Desiree Hartsock looks to be taking all of those tropes to the max.
What the hell are we talking about? Just that People’s first look at The Bachelorette Season 9 reveals that one of Des’s guys has a girlfriend. Now, we already knew that, being the resourceful, wiley, and slightly obsessed fans that we are. But knowing a thing and seeing a thing are quite different. Let’s just say you better get ready for some dramz, you guys.
As Reality Steve revealed early last month, contestant Brian Jarosinki went into The Bachelorette with some unfinished business, which leads to his girlfriend (YUP) showing up to a group date and calling him out in front of Chris Harrison, Des, God, and everybody. Considering how much Des works out, we’d be afraid if we were Brian.
Thankfully, it looks like the incident happens fairly early on in Des’s “journey,” so hopefully she won’t shed too many tears over Bad News Brian.
