They wouldn’t, would they? We honestly can NOT even imagine what the show would be like without him.
Well, neither can Gossip Girl, it appears! HollywoodLife spoke with Ed Westwick on the red carpet premiere of War Horse on December 4, and the site happened to ask Ed if his character would be attending Gossip Girl’s much-hyped Royal Wedding on January 30.
Well, there you have it. Can’t very well attend a wedding if you’re dead and buried in a coffin, now can you? (Unless, maybe Chuck comes back to the Upper East Side as ... a ghost? Technically, he would still be at the wedding.) But other than that — we’d say it’s pretty safe to assume that Chuck Bass makes it out of his scary emergency room ordeal alive.
Plus, when you add in the recent on-set pictures of Ed on set filming GG, it's pretty safe to assume he's totally alive. A ghosts couldn't very well walk his pet dog or talk on a cell phone, now could he?
Now whether or not he has any memory of his UES life … or his recently-hatched plans to run away with Blair … that still remains to be seen.
What do you think: Will Gossip Girl go the whole amnesia route when it comes to Chuck’s recovery?
