Glee Spoiler: Kurt Is “Feeling Very Down” in Season 5, Episode 19

There’s very little we know about Glee’s Season 5, Episode 19 (“Old Dog New Tricks”). The only things we know for sure are that Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) has penned the episode and there will be plenty of old people including some “very cool guests.” But now the 23-year-old actor is speaking out about this week’s episode.

“The main storyline is about Kurt. He’s really one of the only ones left in the group who hasn’t really made a name for himself yet, and he’s feeling very down about that,” Chris told E! Online. “So he’s looking for something to supply him with that validation.”

Chris is totally correct about Kurt being left behind. Not only is Rachel (Lea Michele) a Broadway star with a potential TV career, but Blaine (Darren Criss) is about to make a huge debut, thanks to June Dolloway (Shirley MacLaine). On top of that, Mercedes (Amber Riley) just helped snag Santana (Naya Rivera) a record deal. Kurt definitely needs to catch up but how will he do it?

“He finds [what validates him] when he meets this woman named Maggie who lives at an assisted living home, and he ends up joining that assisted living home’s production of Peter Pan.”

And just in case you’re wondering, Kurt does wear green spandex.

Are you excited to see this week’s very Kurt-centric episode? Hit the comments and let us know!

Glee airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
