Cycle 16, Episode 3 of America's Next Top Model was the ever-exciting Makeover Episode, in which one model would inevitably end up in tears over her manly bob or her pourly executed weave.
Both of these scenarios took place during this episode, as Sara drew the short, spiky hair card. But it was NBD! She chose to have short hair before the show! Your bad, girl. Had you shown up with long hair and then they cut it, maybe you'd have something to complain about. But they could only award one model with a hideous weave this cycle. Sorry, Sar! Molly was the real catastrophe this time.
They decided to give Mol the hideous blonde curly wig that took six hours of Molly's life away from her and even gave her a sore bum from sitting too long! The weave looked like it had been put in two inches from her scalp, so her own hair was showing and just looked wack. Every so often a girl falls prey to a Makeover Mishap, and this cycle it had to be Molly. Good thing Alexandria cried to the stylist before her weave started, or else she may have succumbed to a similar fate.
But this hideous mop of hair did not go unnoticed. Tyra in all of her styling glory told Molly that "if she stuck around" past elminations, she would get her weave fixed. Oh, how can she thank you enough, Tyra?! If she had been eliminated, Tyra would have sent her home with that hideous hair and made her pay for the salon bill? Such hospitality over at ANTMthese days! Anyway, check out photos from next week's episode (ANTM Cycle 16, Episode 4, airing on March 16, 2011) in which Molly's hair gets fixed and she looks absolutely fierce. This girl is now a front-runner!
