Bachelorette 2013 Spoiler: Us Weekly Confirms Self-Elimination in Antigua

From what we’ve seen of the two-part Season 9 finale of The Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock cries a lot. Just, like, all of it. And in Us Weekly’s newest issue, they confirm that Des has plenty of reason for all those tears. Why? Because one contestant definitely eliminates himself on the July 29 episode in Antigua.

According to the magazine, “in the middle of their date, the man Hartsock considered a potential husband told her he was walking away from their relationship, crushing any chance of a future together.” So, which guy is it that leaves unexpectedly, and what happens next?

Well, we’re thinking that it’s Brooks Forester who eliminates himself in Antigua. As for the why of it all, we can only speculate that his unwillingness to say “I love you” while Chris Siegfried and Drew Kenney couldn’t stop dropping L-bombs may be to blame. Perhaps it’s just a case of “he’s just not that into you.”

Complicating the finale further is the added mention from Us Weekly’s source, saying that whichever finalist eliminated himself regretted his decision “almost immediately.” Yikes. There’s nothing worse than leaving for what you think is a good reason, only to want to return after.

Ali Fedotowsky has been on both sides of things, eliminating herself during Jake Pavelka’s season, and then begging the Bachelor to let her come back. And then, while starring on The Bachelorette Season 6, she saw frontrunner Frank Neuschaefer leave her in Curacao, even though he was probably her favorite all along.

So, what will happen when the mystery guy leaves? Will he return? Would Des take him back? Is it Brooks? Tell us your favorite theories below.
