Pretty Little Liars Spoilers: “A” Isn’t Playing Games Anymore — “It’s Life or Death”

What kind of town throws a party in a graveyard? Ravenswood, of course! ET Online gives a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of the Pretty Little Liars Halloween special, and it looks like it’s going to scare up a lot of fun. Read on to find out why the PLL actors think you should watch the episode, and to get some sneak peeks into the episode.

The behind-the-scene vid started with a sneak peek from the actual episode, showing the Liars strutting up to the Ravenswood Founders Day party in their stellar costumes all period pieces circa, apparently, the founding of Ravenswood. The party’s locale? The Ravenswood graveyard (this town does love their graveyard). A concerned Emily asks, “What if we see ‘A’ before we find Alison?” Spencer does the math: “There’s four of us and only one of him.” That doesn’t comfort the other Liars very much, nor should it.

“We know that, the closer we get to Ali, the more dangerous it becomes with ‘A,’” Troian Bellisario (Spencer) tells ETonline. “So that’s that kind of gives ground to these massive fight sequences and this big action sequences because ‘A’ is not playing a game anymore with us. It’s really life or death.” Yikes!

Ashley Benson (Hanna) says you should watch the episode for the amazing outfits, the reveals, and an introduction to the Ravenswood cast. The spin-off will premiere following the PLL Halloween episode. Ash also teased “a huge, huge, huge surprise” that will make us gasp.

“Why would you miss this episode?” asks Troian. “Other than the finales, this is definitely going to be the most fun episode of the year. I mean, the costumes, the action, so many mysteries will be revealed, and it’s just fun, you know. It’s a scary movie. We’re shooting like a little scary movie in the middle of our TV season.”

Scary is right. The vid ends with a scene of the Liars walking into an underground Ravenswood tomb, which they are summarily locked into. “Come on, we’ll find another way,” cool-headed Spencer says. Hanna is less patient:“Well, hopefully, it leads to your car. Spence, I want to go home.” We have a feeling their Ravenswood nightmare is far from over.
