Pretty Little Liars Spoilers: Was Ezra With Ali the Night She Disappeared? (PHOTO)
Ezra (Ian Harding) may be innocent on the “A” front, but that doesn’t let him off of the hook entirely. What was the writer up to the night of Ali’s disappearance? Because, from the looks of this Pretty Little Liars promo shot featured in a recent US Weekly article, the two were together the day Ali was buried alive.
In the picture, Ali and Ezra are sitting together in a car. The detail that really drew our attention, however? Alison’s clothing. She’s seems to be wearing the same outfit she was that night: the yellow shirt and Toby’s jacket. This picture implies that Alison and Ezra were together some time that night! What was the nature of their rendezvous, and will Ezra fill the Liars in on the deets?
From what we know of the timeline of the day Alison disappeared, it looks like Ali met up with Ezra after she saw Toby outside of the Hastings family barn and before she met up with Ian at the kissing rock — or, at least, that’s our guess. Toby recalls seeing Alison get into a car with someone he couldn’t identify. Was the man in question Mr. Fitz? Given this photo, it certainly seems likely.
This seems like good news for Ezra. He saw Ali well before any buried-alive shenanigans starting going down. Was this the only time he saw the teenager that night? For his sake, let’s hope so -- unless he helped Alison escape Rosewood, in which case we’re willing to give him a little departure time leeway. We like this latter theory. Ezra has a lot of stuff to make up for, and helping to save Ali’s life could help his redemption a teensy bit. Though, if he knew Ali was alive this entire time, not telling a griefing Aria might add another tally to the fail column.
What do you think Ezra and Ali were doing together the night she disappeared? Do you think Ezra helped her get out of Rosewood? Share your theories in the comments below!
