“Alison and Spencer have always been… frenemies at best,” Troian dished. “They’ve always had a level of competition and their families are intertwined in very, very bad ways. So I don’t think they’re just automatically going to go into smooth sailing. I think it’s going to be a lot of problems.”
We can get behind that prediction. It would be hard enough welcoming back into your life anyone who you’d suspected dead, but given that Spencer was seriously entertaining the theory that she was the one who attacked Ali the night of her disappearance, you better believe things are going to awkward. They also have the potential to be super compelling. The dynamic between Spencer and Ali has always been a fascinating one, perhaps because Spence has never put up with Ali’s emotional manipulation. Spencer’s life has also changed a great deal in Ali’s absence. Will these two be able to find a way to being friends, or will their frenemy-ship continue?
How do you think Spencer will deal with Ali’s return to Rosewood? Share your theories in the comments below!
