Game of Thrones Spoilers: Will Arya Kill Anyone Else on Her List?

With her recent vengeful murder of sword-stealer Polliver on Game of Thrones, Arya has knocked off one, albeit minor, member of her hit list. So the question is: who’s next? Read on to find out!

Warning! This article contains spoilers from the A Song of Ice and Fire book series; click away now if you don’t want to know!

Arya’s hit list from the books is much longer than the one she has in the show, including lots of Lannister underlings like Polliver who may or may not have been featured on the show. Her show list is currently as follows: Joffrey, Cersei, Tywin, and Melisandre (the latter two do not make her list in the books). We know that Joffrey is already dead, so will Arya get the chance to take out one of the other three?

If she does, it’s not going to be anytime soon. In fact, through the five published books of ASOIAF, Arya has yet to even see any of these characters again since she left King’s Landing, let alone kill them, and she’s never met Melisandre in the books at all. Having said that, she may indirectly kill a former member of her list...

The Hound used to be one of Arya’s top targets, but now that they’re BFFs, she’s taken him off her list. However, at some point this season, the Hound is gets grievously wounded and asks Arya to put him out of his misery, trying to egg her on by reminding her what a bad guy he was. His plan has the reverse effect though, and Arya decides he should suffer and she leaves him to die.

Whether or not he actually dies or not is fodder for another article, but his death is her intent. So, to answer the original question: Arya kinda, sorta, maybe kills someone on her list, on a technicality.
