Bachelorette 2013 Spoilers: Baby Mama Drama in Atlantic City

Uh oh, y’all. Desiree Hartsock and her band of merry men are hopping a plane to Atlantic City on The Bachelorette Season 9 Episode 4, and you know what you take on a trip? Baggage. (Don’t hit us, Emily Maynard). Yep, that’s right. In tonight's episode, one of Des’s boy toys is going to have a showdown about his progeny — and what’s worse, it doesn’t end well for anyone.

So, who’s the guy in question? Are you all thinking that hottie / villain Ben Scott, who brought son Brody on the premiere, may be the one facing the wrath of his baby mama. But remember? He said they’re BFFL (or at least BFFEY — best friends for eighteen years), so a lot would’ve had to change for him suddenly to get the brunt of her beef (mental imagery for days).

But if you said Brad McKinzie is the one who is about to be smited, you’re right! According to our main man with the season plan (laid out in front of him in his scheming chair, no doubt), Reality Steve, things get ugly for Brad in Atlantic City when he has an impromptu phone convo with his ex about their kid.

Here’s what happens: Until now, Brad’s ex Brittnee (yes, we spelled that right) Nelson, aka Maddex’s mom, was taking care of Maddex in their home state of Colorado where she worked as a waitress at Twin Peaks (Hooters meets lumberjacks). But according to RS, Britt and her current man had a fight, and so she decided to go back to Texas, where her family is located. And, since it may be considered kidnapping to take a minor across state lines (especially considering the issues Brad brought up on Episode 3), it seems that she dropped the 3-year-old kid off at Brad’s mom’s house.

Although we’re happy she didn’t spirit Brad’s son away to a different state (although Brody does live in Texas, so maybe the two tykes could be BFF...), the whole “your son is now at your mom’s house and you should probably come home” thing does tend to get in the way of a cross-continental love connection. Needless to say, Des sends Brad on his way, and that’s the end of things for our human Ken doll.

We’re not sure how it will play out on TV, since RS wasn’t sure if Bradnee’s teleconference took place before or after his date with Des, but we’ll look forward to seeing it all play out. Will you be sad to see Brad go?
