Bachelorette 2015 Spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Insane Finale Twist!
UPDATE (6/16/15): We hate to do this to you, but it’s time to rethink everything you’ve heard spoilers-wise so far for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Bachelorette 2015 ending. Why? Because Reality Steve has just admitted that his intel was wrong on this one, and Kaitlyn does pick someone in the finale: Shawn Booth!
You can get all of the details over here for the big surprise twist, but just know that instead of rejecting both Shawn and Nick Viall’s marriage proposals, Kait only says goodbye to Nick and actually accepts when her RyGos lookalike pops the question. Otherwise, all of the other spoilers below remain the same (top three, etc.). So rest easy on that.
Hooray! We’re sorry we misled you, but at least it’s a happy ending right? Stay tuned to Wetpaint for more spoiler-y goodness as it comes in!
Original story (6/21/15):
Are you sitting down, Bachelorette fans? Take a seat on your rose-printed couch and get yourself a cold compress, because this news about Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Season 11 Finale is barely fit to print. According to spoiler of all the things, Reality Steve, Bachelorette 2015 ends in a way that’s never happened before, and while a lot of fans won’t be happy about it, we are!
As fans of the franchise know, nearly every season culminates in the lead picking his or her favorite contestant and proposing… something to them (looking at you, Juan Pablo Galavis). But during Brad Womack’s Bachelor 11, something groundbreaking happened: He dumped both of his final two, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft. Guess what, the curse of Season 11 happens again, because on Bachelorette 11, Kaitlyn PICKS NO ONE!
After the Fantasy Suites dates, Kaitlyn tells Ben Higgins to hit the road, leaving just Shawn Booth and Nick Viall to fight it out for her future. Except, Steve says, in the finale, they don’t go somewhere beautiful and romantic. They go to the polar opposite: Bachelor Mansion. And in that episode, the season finale, she rejects both guys.
Now, we’re not sure if both guys propose, or if she follows in Emily Maynard’s footsteps and tells one or both she’s not into it before they get down on one knee. All we know is that this might be the beginning of a reality check that will possibly penetrate the show, making finale proposals a maybe instead of the expected.
Steve says that Kaitlyn is currently single, meaning she also doesn’t say that she’ll pull a JPG and Nikki Ferrell and date one of them for a few months, just to get money to show up at nightclubs and malls. Thank goodness!
