Pretty Little Liars Spoilers: Will Ezra Be in The Season 4 Finale?

Though Season 4B of Pretty Little Liars hasn’t yet started to air, we know that the exploration of Ezra’s (Ian Harding) character will be an important storyline in the next 13 episodes as the Liars get closer to discovering his part in the “A” game. Will Ezra be appearing in the Season 4 finale, aka the most climactic episode of the entire season?

“Yes. Ezra is in the finale!” PLL showrunner Marlene King tweeted yesterday, making us smile. Not only do we wish Ian could appear as Ezra in every episode, but this implies that Ezra will still be playing an important role in the central mystery all the way to the end of the season.

Does this mean that the “A” as Ezra reveal to the Liars won’t happen until the Season 4 finale? We kind of hope not - that would be a long time for our girls to be kept in the dark. Plus, when Toby was playing for the “A” team, it was only a handful of episodes after the reveal to the audience before Spencer figured it out. Will Aria get the same courtesy?

If Aria does find out about Fitz relatively early on in Season 4B, what Ezra-related plots might be happening in the Season 4 finale? Finales are generally saved for progression in the “A” plot rather than the romantic ones (though, sometimes, they go hand-in-hand). Will the rest of the Liars discover Ezra’s complicity in this episode? Will he prove himself hero or villain one way or another? Either way, we’re just glad to know we have another Ezra-confirmed ep to look forward to.
