Although it was the second Hometown Date filmed (according to Reality Steve), Juan Pablo's first stop is to visit Nikki and hang near her Kansas City hometown, eat some barbecue, and then meet her family. Which is only fair, considering he introduced her to his own family — including four-year-old daughter Camila and ex Carla Rodriguez — in Miami. Of course, she gets a rose and moves on to the Fantasy Suites date in St. Lucia. Because, as Juan Pablo would say, “she’s Neeeeky.”
Next, he goes to the date he filmed third, Andi Dorfman’s Atlanta ‘hood. Reality Steve says they go to Piedmont Park and then head to SharpShooters gun range in nearby Roswell, Georgia. Previews make things look super awkward when he asks her dad for his approval. Dude is like "why would I do that when you're dating approximately a billion other girls?" because he's not wrong. So, we'll have to see how that goes. For now, though, Andi is safe, as the ABC promo shows that she makes it to Fantasy Suites. We're not sure why they revealed that, but we'll take it.
Third, they'll show his fourth date, as he goes to nearby Sarasota to hang around in Renee’s chill life. She takes him to her son Ben’s little league game and then they meet her family. In a sneak peek of the episode, Renee confesses to the cameras that she is in love with Juan Pablo! They have an easy chemistry in the clip, but we'll have to watch and see if the 32-year-old single mom actually says the words to him.
Lastly, we'll see what happens (in the first date he filmed) when he goes off to visit Clare in Sacramento. They’ll have a picnic, get some ice cream, make out forever, grab Juan Pablo a trim (Clare’s a hairstylist), and then meet the family. So, how does it go? Well, enough that she moves on.
So, which one is gone? There's only one left...
Unfortunately, it’s Renee. We know. Take a moment, say your goodbyes (to all the good things you thought about Juan Pablo). She’s so cool, we’re sure she’ll take it all in stride. But still, we weren’t the only ones who wanted him to end up with her, and we sort of hope he regrets letting her go until the day he dies. Not that we’re the bitter types.
Are you surprised that Renee is the next to go? Tell us why or why not below!
