Pretty Little Liars Spoilers: Jake’s Storyline Is Left “Open-Ended” in Season 4B

When Pretty Little Liars returns for Season 4B, we know all eyes will be on Ezra, as he descends deeper into darkness, and more importantly, his relationship with Aria. But there is another man in Aria’s life who needs to be addressed first — remember Jake, Aria’s good-looking martial arts instructor?

Well, just because Ezria is back together, it doesn’t mean Jake is out of the picture… yet. We know he won’t be in Season 4B for very long, but after Aria finds out Ezra is “A,” she’s going to need a shoulder to cry on, right?

“They kind of left the character open-ended,” Ryan Guzman (Jake) told OK! Magazine about the possibility of Jake coming back to PLL. “My last episode is yet to air so you’ll find out what happens to Jake later on. But I’d love to be a part of it. With the storyline and how it’s going, obviously Ezra’s the bad guy, Jake would love to get his hands around his neck.”

A brawl between Ezra and Jake? Now, that’s something we’d love to see on the DVD extras! As for Ryan’s on-screen kissing buddy, Lucy Hale, it turns out they still keep in touch. In fact, Ryan couldn’t be prouder of Lucy for pursuing her country music dreams.

“I actually just texted her the other day. I said congratulations on everything that she’s done, and when we were filming PLL she had been talking about doing her tour and getting her album out but it was all just speculation at the time,” he said. “But to see it actually happening is awesome for her and awesome to see her develop as the country artist that she wants to be.”

We’re pretty proud of her, too, Ryan!

What do you think, PLL fans? Do you want to see Jake return for more episodes, or are you over Jaria?
