Bachelor 2014 Spoilers: Does Juan Pablo Get Engaged in the Finale?

Set your clocks, kittens. It's less than a month until Juan Pablo Galavis's epic season of The Bachelor sees the finale, and we're all counting down the moments until JPG decides the fate of all of our hearts. Although we started out getting to know the 27 gals competing for his heart, there are only a handful of hunnies left and only one can be the winner. Or, if he’s like Season 11 Brad Womack, uh, no one will be. Because, well, you probably remember that trainwreck. Will JPG be more Sean Lowe than B Wo?

Honestly? We’re not quite sure yet. While we were all about the man with the Venezuelan tan on day one, we've fallen out of love a little with him, and we're wondering if it's possible he may have fallen out of love with love during his seven weeks as El Bachelor.

You see, Reality Steve published a mess of spoilers about The Bachelor 2014 way back in November, and one of the biggest is about who the handsome single dad will choose in the March 10 finale. [We’ve already said who it is, and we’ll leave it out in case some of you don’t want to know.]

But the other biggest deal in spoilerville is what happens in the finale: he doesn't propose, according to Steve.

We’ll give you a second to catch your breath. But while we just want to know how it's possible that Juan Pablo wouldn't want to spend the rest of his life with the chosen one, Steve says that he’s not at all surprised that the girl in the end gets a rose but not a ring. “Not sure why they let Juan Pablo not propose at the end, when others in the past didn’t want to either but they had to. However, for Juan Pablo, I’d say it’s more about him never wanting to propose to any of these girls in the first place before he even started this journey,” the spoiler guru says.

He’s referring to Jason Mesnick in the quote, who confessed on his podcast “This Is Reality” that he didn’t want to propose to Melissa Rycroft, who he later dumped for Molly Mesnick. Not since Brad Womack’s Season 11 shocker, when he dumped both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft on his finale, has something like this happened.

But let's look at this Season 18 Finale in relation to some of the others. Before Season 11, it was almost the norm not to propose. Season 1 Bachelor Andrew Firestone, Season 4 Bachelor Bob Guiney, Season 5’s Jesse Palmer, Season 7’s Charlie O’Connell, Season 8’s Travis Stork, and Season 9 Bachelor Prince Lorenzo Borghese all entered into relationships with their chosen ones rather than giving them an engagement ring.

Will you be surprised if the season doesn’t end on bended knee? Share your thoughts below!
