All you need is love — especially if you’re an emotionally-dysfunctional hybrid like The Originals’ Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan). OK, he might need some perspective and a lesson in domestic harmony, too. Unlike his siblings, Klaus hasn’t had a significant love interest yet on The Originals. Is that about to change? Joseph spoke to E! Online about the possibility!
"I feel like he is and sort of always has been a loner," Joseph said. "That doesn't mean there won't be liaisons with other characters, you know, he's not a hermit, but he finds it very difficult to relate to people." Even so, E! Online did tease an upcoming “flirtation” for the Mikaelson loner.
Who might the lucky (or not-so-lucky, given Klaus’ penchant for turning on the people he loves) lady be? Well, there’s always Cami (Leah Pipes). Though we haven’t seen the bartender psychologist for awhile, she and Klaus definitely shared a connection — you know, before Klaus compelled her to forget everything important she’d learned since coming to New Orleans, she remembered, and decided never to forgive him. But will she really be able to resists Klaus’ vulnerable-face forever?
According to the Episode 15 synopsis, "In a series of flashbacks to 1919, Klaus opens up to Cami and reveals details of the devastating secret Rebekah and Marcel were trying to keep from him.” Sounds more emotionally-draining than flirty, but might this scenario involve the teased flirtation? If anyone can pull off baring his soul and flirting at the same time, it’s Klaus.
Do you think Klaus should get a love interest? Who will he be flirting with in an upcoming episode? Sound off in the comments below!
